Taking off to another dimension... Tackling down and up again?

All you need is a any great experience to keep in ya mind . It helps to pass the cold times as quick as possible - trust me.

A trip with Simon Stallabrass (owner of the carphuntersmagazine.de )
to the magnificent Embalse de Riba-roja del Ebro

Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?
I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now
Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?
I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now
Yeah, I could use a dream or a genie or a wish
To go back to a place much simpler than this
Cause after all the partying, the smashin’ and crashin’
And all the glips and the glam and the fashion
And all the pandemonium and all the madness
There comes a time where you fade to the blackness
And when you starin’ at that phone in your lap
And you hopin’ but them people never call you back
But that’s just how the story unfolds
You get another hand soon after you fold
And when your plans unravel in the sand
What would you wish for if you had one chance
So airplane, airplane sorry I’m late
I’m on my way so don’t close that gate
If I don’t make that, then I switch my flight
And I’ll be right back at it by the end of the night

Thanx to Simon Steinkraus from Naturbaits, who gave us a ride to the airport on sunday morning. Unfortunatly he had to pick up our fishing reels cuz we wern't supposed to to carry'em along in our backpacks. Nevertheless, we didn't mean to kill anybody anyways .

We spent two hours in the airplane, followed by two hours in our rented car we have gotten from sixt rentels. At around ten we arrived at the camp and got the roomkeys from Taffi(-tackle.com). He's a crazy guide and is working for "Angeln nach Maß". This guy caught 174 silures over 2 meters within a cupple of years.

Anever ending story... aus einer kurzfristigen Spinnerei wurde ein fantastischer Jahresabschluss mit Welsen weit über 2 Metern Länge und Karpfen über 20 Kilo. Neue PB's in jeder Hinsicht, doch who gives a damn shit about kilo's. They're just an indicator beside the great time on the bank without any goals. I don't care about kilos, the way you follow, the way you're on is supposed to be in coeducation with your livestyle. Never mark a session only by the catch you've got.

By the way, all the tackle we had for fishing was rented from olli, the owner of the camp. Simon and I calles the Tackle range "garbage takcke" - it's just a joke for insiders i guess.

The bedchair was broken, we chiped a shimano us-baitrunner, broke a landing net, drowned cupple of leds in the lakebed and slept under a cover which was supposed to be for silures.... and so on

The crazy parts were the boot rides, Simon obviously enjoyed looking after me when i brought the rods out to their spods. No way, but it was my part and we were a good match.

You could take off the spool without even loosening the drag....

That's Kay. We got to know this guy in the camp... It's been an amazing time with him at the swim, Simon an I have never seen a fisherman, fighting a 19 Kilo common in 3 minutes outta a distance of 130 meters - unbelievable...

Jesus was holding my hand and my fisrst fish was a 15 kilo twotone... Just undescribeable or just destiny?

Simon, had 9 runs at the first day, and pulled some pretty nice fish over the net...

...overwhelming this common!

Fuck Yes - 19 Kilos of commonpower - fishing's NOOOOOOOO Competition - Some People aren't able to check it !!!
Fuck the world - Go Fishing (blacklabelbaits.de)

One week of fishing, but we only spent 3 days at the rivers edge... with some weighty results after feeding about 100 kilo pellets. There it is, our teamfish that weighed exacty 20,8 kilos. what an overwhelming feeling.

45 minutes of pulling and craking reels, we finally got the big one out... 2,25m on a carprod.

I've never expected, even dreamd that such a huge monster's gonna take two hallibut pellets on a size two hook. WOW.

Another big gun in our hands... The results of teamwork each way...

Simon's gonne give me a smile even if the fish's not easy to hold in place.

Pelet-granade.

They totally earned my respect. These creatures are faszinating...

Every single evening they flipped at the surface an made the little fish dizzx with their humungus tail. Can't explain how these noisy slpas sunded in our ears - like big water bucket that someone pulled out of the water... Just terrifying...

We'll come back - of course we'll !!!
Thanx a lot too Simon, Taffi Olli and Kay...
